Mission Statement for U.T.H.C. INC *

Universal Therapies Healing in Color, Inc. (U.T.H.C. INC.) is a healing-centered, culturally grounded mental wellness organization dedicated to restoring dignity, equity, and emotional liberation for BIPOC communities — especially Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and queer individuals who have historically been denied access to affirming and identity-centered care.

We exist because too many of our people have been forced to navigate trauma, silence, financial hardship, and identity-based oppression without the emotional tools or culturally aligned support needed to heal.
U.T.H.C. was created to change that.

Our mission is to reclaim wellness for communities of color by offering transformative, accessible, trauma-informed mental health and identity development services that honor the full humanity of our people — their history, culture, spirituality, and lived experiences.

We believe:

  • Healing is a radical act of reclaiming self-worth, especially for those who were taught to endure rather than express, to survive rather than thrive.

  • Mental wellness must reflect culture, because BIPOC healing requires an understanding of race, identity, gender, spirituality, colonial violence, and the intergenerational wounds we carry.

  • Representation matters, and communities of color deserve practitioners who understand the complexity of their lived realities — academically, clinically, and personally.

  • Liberation begins with emotional justice, and emotional justice begins when our stories, identities, and truths are seen, validated, and centered.

  • Access transforms outcomes, which is why we work to eliminate financial, cultural, and systemic barriers to care through sliding-scale therapy, identity coaching, education, digital tools, and community initiatives.

  • Community is the catalyst, because healing is not meant to be walked alone — we heal in relationship, we heal in culture, and we heal when someone finally says, “You don’t have to carry this by yourself.”

U.T.H.C. INC. centers the lives of Black men, Black queer communities, Indigenous & Latinx communities, and all BIPOC individuals navigating the intersections of trauma, identity, masculinity, queerness, financial struggle, cultural silence, and the psychological weight of systemic harm.

Through therapy, coaching, workshops, community circles, evaluations, digital health innovation (Hush Health), and culturally affirming educational programming, we provide pathways to:

  • Emotional intelligence

  • Identity clarity

  • Financial wellness

  • Intimacy & relational healing

  • Leadership & self-mastery

  • Cultural and spiritual grounding

  • Generational transformation

We stand as a sanctuary for BIPOC healing — a place where survival is honored, but transformation is the goal; where every identity is safe; where culturally informed mental wellness is not an exception, but the standard.

U.T.H.C. INC. is healing in color. Healing in community. Healing in truth. Healing in purpose. Healing for all BIPOC lives.

Vision Statement

U.T.H.C. INC. envisions a world where BIPOC communities — especially Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and queer individuals — are emotionally free, culturally affirmed, and equipped with the tools to heal, lead, and transform their lives without shame, fear, or silence.

We imagine a future where our people are no longer surviving generational trauma, but rewriting their narratives with dignity, truth, and collective power.

A world where culturally grounded mental wellness is accessible, normalized, and celebrated.

A world where healing is not a privilege — but a birthright.
